Meet The Recipients
Grace
I am currently in an accelerated BSN program at Galen College of Nursing, which is a 3-year program with four quarters each year. I am on track to graduate in June 2027, and I plan to specialize in ICU before returning to school to become a Nurse Anesthetist. I’ve been a caregiver for over 3 years, and I’ve always had a deep passion for helping others. Your support will allow me to continue pursuing this dream.
My daughter, Nyla, is 4 years old and will be starting kindergarten this August. I can’t express how much it means to me that you are willing to contribute towards my education. The financial assistance you’re offering will make a world of difference, as I need the funds to register for the upcoming quarter in my program. Without it, I would be unable to move forward.
Liz
I went back to high school by going online when I got pregnant with my daughter. I graduated in one summer and immediately started college shortly after the birth of my daughter. A few weeks into school and just before my daughter turned a month old, she was diagnosed with a childhood cancer called retinoblastoma. I stayed in school and went through the beginning stages of treatment with my daughter as well as moved to a different state for her treatments.
She is kicking cancers butt and hasn’t had chemo for over a year. I will soon be graduating with my BS in Cybersecurity at Southern New Hampshire University online and hope to get a job soon to support my daughter and myself. I am 22 and my daughter is now 20 months.

“I have heard many people say that education is the key and the way to a purposeful life. I have found out that is a very true and interesting statement. I intend on using my education to further my career as a Forensic Scientist to solve many crimes and help prove a person’s innocence and or guilt. Because of my education not only an I making a better life for me and my family but giving us an opportunity to experience a whole new world.” ~ Keyuana Hillard
